Public Consultation Environmental Impact Assessments Screening Thresholds

The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne TD, the Minister of State for Local Government and Planning, John Cummins TD, and the Minister of State for Housing, Kieran O’Donnell TD, are inviting submissions from the public on the current ‘Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) screening thresholds’ provisions to provide feedback and to inform the Department’s approach going forward.

Any interested stakeholder may make a submission.

The current ‘EIA screening thresholds’ provisions sit within Part 2 of Schedule 5 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001, as amended (the 2001 Regulations).
