Notice of Re-Appointment to the Board of the Residential Tenancies Board

The Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government on the 30 June 2020, formally re-appointed one candidate for a second term to the Board of the Residential Tenancies Board.

The Residential Tenancies Board is an independent statutory agency established in 2004 under the Residential Tenancies Act and its main functions are:

  • the resolution of disputes between tenants and landlords
  • the registration of tenancies in the private rented and approved housing bodies sectors
  • the provision of advice to the Minister in relation to the private rented sector

The Minister has re-appointed from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2024, Ms. Mary O’Donovan.

This brings the Board membership to 11 persons.
