The Code of Practice for the Remediation of Fire Safety Defects has been developed in the context of Section 18A of the Fire Services Acts 1981 and 2003, following the recommendations contained in the report titled “Defects in Apartments-Report of the Working Group to Examine Defects in Housing” published in July 2022.
