Expanding the Role of the Land Development Agency (LDA)

The Land Development Agency (LDA) now has a wider role and can work in more towns across Ireland. It will help deliver mixed-tenure communities, which include both social housing and private homes in larger developments.

The LDA will also:

Continue to develop State-owned land
Bring together land from both public and private sources
Help create a more stable and affordable housing market
