Independent Advisory Committee on Nature Restoration Report

The Independent Advisory Committee on Nature Restoration Report, launched on 29 April, is the culmination of a 15-month body of work conducted by a committee established by the Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Biodiversity to provide recommendations relating to the development and content of Ireland's Nature Restoration Plan (NRP) which is required under the EU Nature Restoration Law.

Ireland took a unique approach to drafting its Plan. Representatives from farming, fishing, forestry, environmental and scientific communities, and public bodies came together in an Independent Advisory Committee to recommend what our national plan should look like and how it can best be implemented.
