Insights into Total Development Costs 2025

This report is a follow-up to the Total Development Cost Study published in September 2024 and provides overall development costs across six dwelling types. The report adopts the five typologies used previously plus an additional one bed ground floor triplex. The typologies include:
- Three bed semi-detached house
- Two bed suburban apartment
- Two bed urban apartment
- Purpose built student bed space
- Two bed ground floor duplex unit
- One bed ground floor triplex unit
The report also provides updated development costs for the Greater Dublin Area plus four regional locations. The regional locations include cities of Cork, Limerick and Galway, plus the North West Region which includes metropolitan areas of Donegal and Sligo.
