1,356 commencement notices for new homes were lodged in June 2025

40,804 commencement notices were lodged on a rolling 12-month basis (July 2024 to June 2025).

Of the 6,235 commencement notices received so far this year (Jan-July), 31.5% were in the four Dublin local authorities.

By local authority, the most commencement notices this year so far, have been in Dublin City (1,433), followed by Cork County (515) and Donegal (365).
