The Status of EU Protected Habitats and Species in Ireland (Volume 1)

Article 17 of the EU Habitats Directive obliges each European Member State to report on the conservation status of the habitats and species listed on the Directive every six years. The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) summarises the outcome into this overview report entitled The Status of EU Protected Habitats and Species in Ireland (Volume 1). The NPWS also compiles all of these assessments into Habitat and Species (Volumes 2 and 3 respectively) compendiums.
