Since 1 January 2014, Uisce Éireann has been Ireland’s national water utility, responsible for providing water and waste water services to houses and businesses connected to the public water system. It is also responsible for delivering and maintaining public water and waste water infrastructure. Uisce Éireann is publicly owned.
