Deputy Secretary General

The Deputy Secretary General function is a cross-cutting, strategic leadership role within the Department, focused on driving housing supply through policy alignment, infrastructure activation and inter-agency collaboration. The Deputy Secretary General has direct responsibility for the Housing Activation Office within the Department, which is a multi-disciplinary unit within the Department focused on unlocking key sites with potential for large-scale housing development and staffed by a mixture of Departmental officials and subject matter experts from key infrastructure agencies and local authorities.
