Principal Officer, Affordable Housing Strategic Delivery & Co-ordination Unit

Responsibility at Head of Business Unit level for the Affordable Housing Strategic Delivery and Coordination Unit. This unit leads on engagement with the local authorities and the other affordable delivery partners at a strategic level, to enable the increased delivery of affordable housing units and supports nationwide, in line with Delivery Homes, Building Communities 2025 - 2030.

This includes the monitoring of delivery and consideration of enabling measures, such as staffing and other resourcing, as well as the examination of opportunities for efficiency in delivery.

The unit also provides a coordination lead within the Affordable Housing Division, including the reporting of affordable housing delivery data for internal and external stakeholders, the production of briefings for a range of events and engagements and with the delivery partners, the communication of information more widely, relating to the affordable housing schemes and resulting housing delivery.
