Deborah has responsibility for the Legal Services Support Unit (LSSU). The LSSU defends Judicial Reviews and other general court cases taken against Immigration Service Delivery. The Unit places equal importance on process improvement on foot of settled/lost cases by liaising and assisting Units within Immigration Service Delivery. The Unit also has a dedicated “on demand” legal helpdesk service having moved to a proactive approach to minimising numbers of Judicial Review’s where possible.
