The Director of Corporate Services provides support to the Director General in fulfilling laboratory functions and deputises on a seniority basis. He has responsibility for the progression of IT projects within the organisation; for infrastructure/facilities issues relating to the laboratory; he has a lead role in external affairs including legal interactions, Garda training and acts as line manager for the Customer Liaison Manager and IT personnel. He is also responsible for FSI's obligations under the Freedom of Information Act.
