Catherine Ardagh appointed Minister of State

The Government has approved the appointment of Catherine Ardagh TD as Minister of State with the responsibility for International Law, Law Reform and Youth Justice.

Minister Ardagh has extensive experience in public service, having served in local government as a Dublin city councillor representing the Crumlin/Kimmage area and as a Member of the Oireachtas. Prior to her election to Dáil Éireann in 2024 she served as a Senator since 2016.

The Department looks forward to working with Minister Ardagh in delivering the Government's priorities across her areas of responsibility.
