The Department facilitates Transition Year placements in collaboration with Dublin North East Inner City Placement (NEIC) Scheme. The scheme focuses on providing students from disadvantaged areas with professional work experience, creating opportunities to bring about lasting positive change in the community.

• Applicants school must be part of the North East Inner City Placement (NEIC) Scheme
• Applicants must be currently in their transition year.

Please contact your TY Co-Ordinator, they can get in touch with the NEIC Co-Ordinator for further information and details. The Department does not facilitate any other TY placements outside the NEIC scheme.

* In order to ensure openness, transparency and fairness, Human Resources only accept TY students assigned by NEIC Project Officer. HR do not liaise directly with individual TY students.
