Background

The Department is one of the first Government Departments that is collaborating with the University of Limerick in their Immersive Software Engineering (ISE) residency Programme. The internship offers an excellent opportunity to UL ISE students who are familiar with using new technologies, to gain work experience and contribute to solving the challenges that are unique to the public sector.

It also provides an excellent opportunity for the Civil Service to contribute to shaping the content of the programme and increase interest in the public sector as a viable career path for ISE students on this innovative degree programme.

Eligibility

Applicants must be studying towards an honours degree in Immersive Software Engineering in the University of Limerick.
