Deputy Secretary, Civil Justice

The Deputy Secretary is accountable for the delivery of the high level strategies, policies and outputs for the Civil Justice pillar.

The Deputy Secretary contributes to the development, implementation and critical review of policies and programmes in the areas of civil law reform and integration, immigration, asylum and citizenship, the courts system, legal aid and access to justice. The Deputy Secretary also oversees the management of the Department’s relationship with a range of agencies and bodies under the aegis of the Department, including the Courts Service.
