responsibility at Principal Officer level for Public Service Transformation Delivery.

The Public Service Transformation unit is responsible for delivery of:

• Our Public Service 2020 (and its forthcoming successor)
• Civil Service Renewal Action Plans
• Making Innovation Real, the Public Service Innovation Strategy
• Public Service Innovation Fund
• Public Service Transformation events and communications (for example: the Public Service Innovation Week and the Civil Service Excellence and Innovation Awards)
• public and employee sentiment analysis on the transformation agenda (Civil Service Business Survey, Civil Service Employee Engagement Survey, Civil Service Customer Survey, Trust in Government Survey)
• emerging technology experimentation and upskilling

The Unit also supports the Civil Service Management Board, the Public Service Management Group and Public Service Leadership Board. The Unit is also the National Coordinating Authority for the EU Commission’s Technical Support Instrument.
