Minister of State for Public Procurement, Digitalisation and eGovernment, Emer Higgins TD has officially launched the opening of registration for Ireland’s first Government Supply Expo 2025, taking place on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
Anyone interested in learning more about public procurement opportunities is encouraged to attend this free landmark event which brings together suppliers, public sector buyers, and procurement professionals from across the island of Ireland. Government Supply Expo 2025 is designed to connect indigenous businesses and SMEs with public procurement opportunities, while providing practical guidance and support to help businesses navigate and succeed in the procurement process.
The event is a joint initiative between InterTradeIreland and the Office of Government Procurement (OGP), which operates as part of the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation.
Minister Higgins said:
“We’re delighted to partner with InterTradeIreland to host Government Supply Expo 2025 and showcase that Government is open for business. The core aim of this event is to increase SME participation in public procurement and highlight the wide range of supports available to suppliers and buyers alike. Government spending offers significant opportunities for local businesses, and this event helps demystify the process of accessing those opportunities.”
The event is open to all, and will feature over 30 exhibitor stands, showcasing key public contracting authorities such as the HSE, EPS, LGOPC, and a range of agencies that support business and economic development. Both suppliers and buyers can participate in plenary and learning zones, where expert-led panel discussions and presentations will offer practical, step-by-step guidance on public procurement processes. Additionally, there will be valuable networking opportunities, allowing suppliers to connect with public buyers and engage across the all-island supply chain.
