Better Public Services Newsletter - February 2026

• ‘Serving Communities, Connecting People’ a Relational Policy event exploring a transformation approach to public service delivery focussing on building meaningful relationships between service providers and users aiming to improve outcomes and trust.
• The 2025/2026 Civil Service Traveller and Roma Work Placement Programme which aims to promote greater participation and inclusion of individuals from these communities in the civil service.
• Announcing the Open Data 2026 Training program. The Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation have partnered with the Institute of Public Administration to deliver an expanded range of Open Data training courses for the public service in 2026
