The Appropriation Accounts and the Finance Accounts, when the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) has finished and reported on his audit of them, are examined by the Dáil Éireann Committee of Public Accounts with regard to regularity and propriety of expenditure against Voted funds. The PAC report on the issues examined and may make recommendations to be answered by the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform in the form of the ‘Minute of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.’
