An Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board (Bord Bia), have entered into a Data Sharing Agreement under the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine for the purpose of sharing Animal Identification Movement (AIMs) Data.
This Data Sharing Agreement covers sharing of Personal Data necessary in the delivery of Bord Bia’s core services where AIMs data is processed. This processing produces calculations in support of the reduction of carbon emissions. It also enables Bord Bia to take samples of the data to ensure accuracy of calculations.
