Political Party Costings - Pre Budget 2026

Ahead of each Budget the services of the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation are offered, on a confidential basis, to co-ordinate the costing proposals for political parties. These costings are supplied by the relevant Government Department. The Guidelines on Costing Political Party Proposals indicate that both Departments publish any costings that they supply after the enactment of the Finance Bill.
