The Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 provides that if a person / organisation who falls within the scope of the Act communicates with a designated public official about a relevant matter, this constitutes lobbying. Any person / organisation engaged in lobbying must register and submit regular online returns of lobbying activity to the Register of Lobbying.
