National College of Art and Design (NCAD)
Exhibition runs on site in the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, New Road, Killarney, Co Kerry, V93 A49X from 4-14 November 2025
Date: 4-14 November
Time: 9.30am – 4pm daily
Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate is an urgent call to action in the face of one of the most pressing challenges of our time: climate change. In an era defined by unprecedented environmental challenges, this exhibition serves as a platform for exploring how collective action can drive meaningful change.
Funded through Creative Ireland’s Climate Action programme, it is a pioneering all-island collaboration between The Institute of Directors Ireland, The Institute of Directors Northern Ireland, Forvis Mazars and Creative Futures Academy that brought together chartered directors, students, artists, designers, entrepreneurs and innovators with the shared ambition to create actionable solutions for our planet.
This exhibition shares the journey of this inter-generational, all island group, their understanding of the climate challenge and positive actions that can be taken to change the temperature within the boardroom. It is being made available to businesses and organisations to reshape behaviours and attitudes so that participants feel empowered to promote change within their direct spheres of influence, and beyond their immediate authority, both as leaders and community collaborators.

National Dialogue on Climate Action’s (NDCA) Climate Policy Forum
Department of Climate, Energy and Environment
Date: 6 November 2025
Location: In-person Time: 1.30pm – 5pm
We will present the barriers identified by citizens to taking six specific climate beneficial actions, including: the adoption of electric vehicles, solar panels, retrofitting, reducing the number of flights taken, using public transport and adopting a more plant-based diet. The research was undertaken by IPSOS on a representative sample of people in Ireland, and provides groundbreaking insights as we segment them into five distinct groups for a deeper understanding of climate actions at the citizen level. We will show the climate actions that people believe have the most impact in reducing their carbon emissions and uncover the actions that citizens believe they have already undertaken, those they plan to take and those they don’t plan to take. These behavioural insights can add an extra dimension to your policy-making inputs and the presentations will be followed by a facilitated, round-table discussion to explore the challenges of policy development, the relevance of engagement with citizens and the role of programmes like the National Dialogue in bringing these behavioural insights to policy makers on a more regular basis.
