The Assistant Secretary for this division is responsible for:
- development of the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES);
- Vote expenditure management (Education; Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (FHERIS);
- Social Protection and Superannuation and Retired Allowances); and
- oversight, development and implementation of Public Service pensions policy (Single Public Service Pension scheme, Actuarial Service and Pensions Policy).
