Rural Ideas Fora

In developing Our Rural Future the Department consulted extensively with people across rural Ireland to understand the issues that matter most to them. Our Rural Future and the Programme for Government. contains a commitment to hold a series of ‘Rural Ideas Fora’.

The events provide an opportunity for the Department to engage meaningfully with stakeholders on some of the key themes in Our Rural Future.

As peoples circumstances and needs evolve and change over time, these Rural Ideas Fora will enable people to contribute on an ongoing basis to issues which impact on them and their communities, and to encourage their ongoing contribution to national rural policy innovation.
