Every year the Department of Social Protection publishes an Annual Report under Section 6 of the Gender Recognition Act 2015.

The Gender Recognition Act 2015 provides that a person can apply for a Gender Recognition Certificate to the Department of Social Protection in order to have their preferred gender recognised by the State.
