Description:

The Atlantic Offshore Renewable Energy 2 Project relates to an offshore static and/or floating wind farm located off the west coast of Ireland, off the coast of County Galway.

This licence, if granted, will allow Atlantic Offshore Renewable Energy 2 to carry out necessary site investigation surveys which will enable the project to confirm the most suitable site and design for offshore wind energy production off the coast Galway.

It should be noted the Foreshore Acts 1933 to 2014 allows for the granting of Investigatory Foreshore Licences inside the 12NM limit and, as such, this application relates only to the area within that jurisdiction.
