Taoiseach announces nominees to Seanad Éireann

Taoiseach Micheál Martin has announced his eleven nominees to Seanad Éireann.
He intends to advise the President to convene the first meeting of the new Seanad on Wednesday 12 February.
The eleven Senators are:

- Alison Comyn
- Anne Rabbitte
- Lorraine Clifford Lee
- Imelda Goldsboro
- Joe Flaherty
- Nikki Bradley
- Manus Boyle
- Noel O'Donovan
- Gareth Scahill
- Evanne Ní Chuilinn
