Principal Officer, Government Information Service

The Government Information Service (GIS) provides the Taoiseach, the Government and the Department with communications and press office support. GIS works to ensure that the public is at the centre of Government communications, and to provide relevant, clear and accessible information about government priorities and services. GIS supports strong coordination and cooperation across communications functions in other Departments and agencies and also plays a role in building communications capability and capacity across the civil and public service.
