The Logistics and Supply Chain sector is essential to the Irish economy. Therefore, more young people and new skillsets for the digital and green transition are required within this sector.
LogisTYcs raised awareness of career opportunities and training courses available within the logistics and supply chain sector. This expo provided TY students the chance to meet directly with employers and educators in the Logistics & Supply Chain sector.
The event included.
- A fun app-based gamification system that allowed students to engage with exhibitors and win prizes – including tickets for TY classes to the Mondello Park Electrified by Opel Experience
- Colm O’Regan as the event’s MC and speakers from WellFed.ie spoke about their sustainable packaging efforts
- A panel discussion with young people working in Logistics and Supply Chain took place
- A focus on Women in Logistics & Supply Chain
- Exhibitors such as Musgraves, Amazon, Irish Rail Freight, DFDS, Dixon International Logistics, Kuehne and Nagel, and many, many more
