Assistant Secretary, Aviation and Emergency Planning

The Assistant Secretary for Aviation and Emergency Planning is responsible for:

  • delivering on the objective for aviation of promote maximum connectivity by air to support Ireland’s economic and social goals
  • ensuring that aviation operates in a safe, competitive and sustainable manner
  • oversight of the relevant State bodies – daa, Shannon Group, the Irish Aviation Authority and the Commission for Aviation Regulation
