This framework agreement provides a range of legal services to a range of public sector bodies.


Goods and services that this framework agreement offers

This framework agreement provides a range of legal services, ranging from routine and defined services that are transactional in nature, to high-level strategic advice which may be of national importance. This can include:

  • Child protection
  • Code enforcement
  • Commercial and corporate
  • Criminal
  • Education (including regulation)
  • Finance, banking and insurance
  • Freedom of Information and Data Protection
  • Procurement and competition law

Green or social considerations

Environmental considerations are included as a self declaration at selection criteria stage of all Legal Services FWs

SOCIAL CONSIDERATION

Up to 20 hours of Pro Bono hours provided on an annual basis for each Services Contract Awarded


Who can use this framework agreement

All eligible public sector clients. (excluding Central Government Departments) A comprehensive list of who can use this framework is available in the User Guide.


Contract Dates

Valid from: Sat 31 Jul 2021

Expiry: Sun 30 Jun 2024

Contract extensions may be available for this arrangement; please check the Buyer Zone or contact support@ogp.gov.ie for further information. Specifically, if you are concerned that the expiry date will have an impact on your requirements.


How to use this framework agreement

Drawdowns from this framework agreement will be conducted through mini-competition. However, in some instances, direct award may be used.

Process Steps:

1. Verify the value of the requirement and select appropriate Framework Lot.

2. Define requirements and specifications. Identify the Evaluation Award Criteria. Complete the SRFT Documentation

3. Return completed SRFT Documentation to the OGP.

4. Provide responses to any clarification queries received.

5. Conduct an evaluation process. Complete evaluation report. Approve and issue outcome letters.

6. Conclude contract with successful tenderer. Provide Contract Award Notice for publication.
