The file types that are allowed on gov.ie are:
- Word (or any open version of the same)
- Excel (or any open version of the same)
- PDF (or any open version of the same)
File types not allowed
- any proprietary file type that is not listed above
- any files with macro or other capabilities that are not accessible or widely available
