Publications

A wide range of policy and expenditure analysis is undertaken and published by government departments annually, strengthening the evidence base to inform policy development. From the beginning, there has been a strong focus for IGEES on developing and publishing analysis and research, contributing to the policy making process and strengthening the transparency of decision making by policymakers.

These publications take the form of Staff Papers, Social Impact Assessments, macroeconomic forecasts, Focused Policy Assessments, Spending Reviews, Value for Money Reviews, and Analytical Notes among others. It should be noted that IGEES papers are prepared by staff in government departments, and do not necessarily represent the policy positions of the relevant department, Minister, or the government.
