Appointment to the National Cancer Registry Board

Following a Public Appointments Service (PAS) campaign, the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly T.D., has appointed Ms Ellen Farrell as a member of the National Cancer Registry Board from the 4th May 2022 until 3rd May 2026.

Ellen holds a degree in Accounting & Finance, a Master’s degree (MBA), a Diploma in Company Direction with the Institute of Directors and a postgraduate Diploma in Strategy & Innovation. Ellen holds a Licentiate membership with the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (LCOI). She has over 20 years of international Financial Services experience, with a proven record of delivering organisational transformation and regulatory change. She previously held an appointment in an Irish State Body (ReBo) providing strategic, risk management and governance advice to financial companies in Ireland. Currently, Ellen is an Associate Director in Fidelity International’s Global Investment Compliance division.
