The new Town Centre First Policy aims to create town centres that function as viable, vibrant and attractive locations for people to live, work and visit, while also functioning as the service, social, cultural and recreational hub for the local community.
This major new strategy to tackle vacancy, combat dereliction and breathe new life into town centres.
It will provide a network of Town Regeneration Officers to drive future development.
There will be unprecedented investment to make our towns better places to live, work and raise a family.
It provides a suite of supports and tools to help businesses and local communities deliver on their unique vision for their area.
The new Policy will deliver on the objectives of Our Rural Future and Housing for All
