The Event
Heather Humphreys TD, Minister for Rural and Community Development chaired a briefing session for stakeholders with an interest in rural and community development. Joe O'Brien TD, Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development and Charities, was also a speaker at the event.
Policy initiatives such as Our Rural Future, Town Centre First and Sustainable, Inclusive and Empowered Communities guided the Department of Rural and Community Development's investment programme in 2022.
Attendees were briefed on:
- How to identify potential projects for investment;
- Best practice in relation to delivery;
- The type of projects that the Department is looking to support; and
- How to access the funding available in 2022.
