This framework agreement offers translation of standard and technical text into Irish. It also covers translation and/or proofreading of legal text and documents.

The Framework has been divided into 3 Lots:

Lot 1 Translation of Standard and Technical Text (Use of AI not Permitted)

Lot 2 Translation of Standard and Technical Text (Use of AI Permitted on Contracting Authorities Instruction)

Lot 3 Translation and or / Proofreading of Legal Text and Documents (Use of AI not Permitted)

All eligible public sector clients. A comprehensive list of who can use this framework is available in the User Guide.

Valid from: Thu 30 Jun 2026

Expiry: Mon 29 Jun 2030

Contract extensions may be available for this arrangement; please check the Buyer Zone or contact support@ogp.gov.ie for further information. Specifically, if you are concerned that the expiry date will have an impact on your requirements.

Drawdown from this Framework is on the basis of Mini-Competition amongst qualified Framework Members and Direct Drawdown via Rotation of same.

1. Direct Drawdown via Rotation

• This option is available for Lot 1 contracts Translation of Standard and Technical Text (Use of AI not Permitted)
• For contract with an estimated value in excess of €50,000 and lower than €150,000 per annum

There are two options for mini competition under this Framework:

2. OGP-assisted mini-competitions

• This option is available for mini competitions conducted under Lot 2 contracts Translation of Standard and Technical Text (Use of AI Permitted upon client’s instruction) and Lot 3 contracts Translation and / or Proofreading of Legal Text and Documents (Use of AI not Permitted)
• For contracts with an estimated value of ≥ €150,000 over its full term.

3. Client Self-Serve mini-competitions

• This option is available for mini-competitions conducted under Lot 2 Translation of Standard and Technical Text (Use of AI Permitted) and Lot 3 Translation and or Proof Reading of Legal Text and Documents.
• For contracts with an estimated value of ≥ €50k over its full term
