Minister O'Donovan announces funding approval for flood protection works at The Neale, Cross, Co. Mayo

Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works, Patrick O’Donovan, has announced the approval of Mayo County Council’s application under the Office of Public Works’ Minor Flood Mitigation Works and Coastal Protection Scheme. Under the scheme, the Office of Public Works (OPW) has approved additional funding of €51,850 for a prefeasibility study, stage 1 feasibility study, preferred option identification and surveys at The Neale, Cross. This funding is in addition to €151,635 approved by the OPW for the project on 1 August 2018.
