The Office of Public Works NDP Sectoral Plan sets out a strategic programme of investment aligned under the National Development Plan, underpinned by a commitment to timely delivery, value for money, and continuous reform. It reflects the important and diverse remit of the OPW in climate adaptation, managing a significant aspect of the State’s property portfolio and the conservation of our heritage.

This plan provides for a record level of investment in climate responsive flood risk management, furthering the Government’s commitment to proactively manage flood risk identified as part of the CFRAM study. This funding will enable major flood relief schemes progress to construction, ensuring that vulnerable areas benefit from robust, climate-resilient solutions.
