Estate Planning Unit (EPU)

Estate Planning Unit provides strategic planning for the programming of OPW’s Estate Projects. The unit has a pivotal role in supporting best practice governance arrangements under the Public Spending Code/ Infrastructure Guidelines covering capital projects funded by both OPW resources and external client organisations. The unit provides information to OPW’s management board relating to the status of estate projects and liaises with external bodies, including DPENDR, on EU funding for Capital Projects, as required.

The unit is secretariat to the Project Pipeline, B6/B12 Expenditure Monitoring Committee and supports the work of the Project Oversight Group, which is responsible for examining projects and programmes and monitoring their delivery against budget, timelines and objectives.
