Responsible at Principal Officer level for VAT policy development and preparation of legislative proposals as well as influencing the development of EU policy and legislation through contributions at Council Working Party meetings and other Commission and Council Groups, bilateral relationships, EC Committees ect. Also responsible for Policy & Legislation for the VAT Modernisation Programme.
