The HSE’s National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP) in collaboration with Healthy Ireland have launched a children's art competition. We are calling on all primary school children, depending on their age category to either colour-in our SunSmart image below or draw an image showing how to be SunSmart!
The SunSmart 5 S’s provide simple information on how to stay safe in the sun and protect your skin for all the family.
The SunSmart 5S’s are:
We want children to be creative and learn how to enjoy the sun safely by:
Colouring in the Healthy Ireland SunSmart 5S’s picture (Junior Infants to Second Class)
or
Drawing a picture showing how to be SunSmart using the Healthy Ireland SunSmart 5S’s (Third Class to Sixth Class)
The winners of each category will receive:

There will also be 10 lucky runner-up prizes in each category who will receive a Healthy Ireland SunSmart kit including a wide brimmed hat and long sleeve top.

Draw a picture of how to be SunSmart using the Healthy Ireland SunSmart 5S’s. You can draw your picture on a piece of plain white paper using crayons, pencils, pens colouring pencils, markers or paint.
