The Pandemic Unemployment Payment is continuing until April 2021.
The COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment will be in place until April 2021. Payment rates will change on the 17 September 2020, 1 February 2021 and on 1 April 2021.
From 17 September 2020 until 31 January the Pandemic Unemployment Payment will be paid at 3 rates.
The rate you receive will depend on the amount you used to get paid:
From 1 February until 28 February 2021 the Pandemic Unemployment Payment will be paid at 2 rates.
If you are receiving a Pandemic Unemployment Payment you will need to apply for either Jobseeker's Benefit
or Jobseeker's Allowance
or Jobseeker's Benefit for the Self-Employed
