Some of our phone numbers have changed

In line with ComReg changes, all 1890 phone numbers you have previously used to contact the department's sections will no longer be in service after 30 November 2021.
All 1890 numbers have been replaced with an 0818 number and will cost no more than a call to a landline from any phone. Calls will be included within your mobile minutes bundle, where it includes landline calls.

If you are calling any section in the department which has previously used an 1890 number, please ensure that you instead use the new replacement 0818 number listed in the DSP Phone Number Directory:
The Mallow Community Welfare Service number has also changed. The new number for this office is 022 70980.
Other Intreo Centres and Social Welfare Branch Offices are not affected by this number change.
