You may be reading about this survey as you’ve heard our recent radio advertisement or have seen one of our digital ads or received a letter from us.
The Healthy Ireland survey asks people about their views and behaviours on a wide range of health-related issues, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, diet and nutrition, the ways in which they use different health services and other topics relevant to health and to improving our health services. It helps us to identify areas we could focus on to make improvements.
This is more important than ever this year.
This survey is conducted every year on our behalf by Ipsos MRBI, an independent research agency.
This year over 7000 households have been randomly selected to take part in the survey, from An Post’s list of all addresses in Ireland.
Those who receive the letter are asked if they are happy to take part in the survey.
Only those who receive a letter can take part.
