The Citizens Information Service (CIS) and the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) will be on hand to offer independent information and advice to you at this year’s National Ploughing Championships.
Meet the Defence Forces personnel from all three formations. You can try out virtual reality equipment and experience life as a member of the Defence Forces.
Each year the Irish Coast Guard co-ordinates the response to thousands of incidents at sea and on the cliffs and beaches of Ireland – find out more about what they do by visiting the Coast Guard team in the Government of Ireland Village.

You can also join the library, see dog control or water safety demonstrations or find out how to contribute to future rural development in Ireland.

Bord Bia support Irish farmers and the wider food and drink industry and will be on hand to provide you with advice and information on topics such as passing the audit, sector expert performance, and delivering on the demands of the global marketplace. Bord Bia are part of this year's Brexit Hub and will be available to help with your Brexit-related queries.
All of the usual supports and services provided by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine you expect will be on site, with extra services this year to help you to Get Brexit Ready as part of the village Brexit Hub. You can also find out more about the Government’s commitments under sustainability and environment.
The RSA will feature a host of innovative and engaging activities to educate attendees on road safety messages. RSA staff will be on hand to advise you on the use of agricultural vehicles, towing capacity, lighting laws, vehicle maintenance requirements and much more.
SOLAS staff will be on hand to answer your questions on future education and training available to you in your community. You can also sign up to free classes with Digital Skills as well as getting information on student grants through SUSI.
An Garda Síochána Community Engagement team will return this year to talk about the work of Gardaí in your community and how you could get involved.
The central Government of Ireland marquee will have a jam-packed schedule of events, speakers and workshops. You can also find out what is happening across the whole Government of Ireland village, as well as information on what Government is and does. As part of this year's Brexit Hub, staff will be available to help with your Brexit-related queries.
Here you can find services and supports for you and your family. The Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection will be onsite, along with information on using MyGovID and accessing the National Childcare Scheme. You can also find work supports for including Revenue, Supporting SMEs and even Intreo services. This marquee is part of this year's Brexit Hub and will be available to help with your Brexit-related queries.
A one-stop-shop for the full range of issues confronting farm families. So if you want to discuss education opportunities, farm succession, forestry, environment related issues, diversification, food, Health and Safety, horticulture, farm management as well as the main stream enterprises drystock, dairy or tillage, there will be free advice available.
This is an action-packed marquee and the central hub for information and activities related to Ireland’s commitments on the Sustainable Development Goals – the UN’s universal call to action for a better, more sustainable world. You can find information on climate action, biodiversity and geology, and lots more activities on site - even a Met Éireann weather station and an angling simulator!
You can find information on our National heritage sites as well as our National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage here. Culture Ireland will also be on site explaining their work promoting Irish Arts abroad and enhancing our diverse tourism sector in rural Ireland.
Here you can journey through Government supports to promote better health and wellbeing and improve health services at each stage of life. Healthy Ireland and partners will be onsite to tell you about practical supports in your community and the HSE have practical information on how to protect your health, prevent illness and where to go to look for help when you need it.

Iarnród Éireann and Bus Éireann will be on site to answer your public transport questions. You will also find the latest news on the National Broadband Plan and infrastructure projects funded under Project Ireland 2040 to help Ireland Get Brexit Ready.
The Homes, Buildings and Lands tent is where you will find information on our ‘Rebuilding Ireland’ policy; our programmes under Project Ireland 2040; housing; planning and building. You can learn your rights as a property purchaser, seller, tenant or landlord and about property valuations, mapping as well as property registration and conservation and digitisation of archive records.
