If you have received a payment for the COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment and you were not entitled to it, you can refund the department in several different ways.
The preferred method of payment is by Debit Card.
To repay by debit card:
Lo-call 0818 927999 and press option 5 (Republic of Ireland only) or call (071) 9672591.
To repay directly to the department's Bank Account:
Please make payable to:
The Accountant, Department of Social Protection and post to:
Central Debt Unit,
Shannon Lodge,
Carrick-on-Shannon,
Co Leitrim
Include your (PPS) Number on the back of the cheque
